To create a safe environment for our members at the Just Good Friends Club, we offer them a voice and a choice while increasing opportunities to socialize and build friendships. Our charity for learning disabilities ensures that all social events for adults are affordable and accessible to everyone.
Our evening clubs, part of our charity for learning disabilities, offer a variety of activities chosen by our members as a group; this could be baking, games nights, crafting, or evenings out and much more. These social events for adults run weekly across different venues in Pinxton, Clowne, Chesterfield, Worksop, and Bolsover between 7pm and 9pm.
All of our evening clubs are £8, and all our clubs are appointment only. Please get in touch to register your interest via the contact form or call 01246 913267.
Additionally, our Weekly Youth Club takes place on Thursdays from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at our Clowne hub, which is part of the Just Good Friends Club initiative.

Welcome to our Community Garden in Whitwell, a proud initiative of our charity for learning disabilities. We have a Snack Shack offering drinks and snacks, open to the whole community from 08:00 to 16:00, Wednesday through Sunday. Our Members play a significant role in this project, having planted and maintained the garden, alongside being adopters of the Train Station that runs next to it. We also host social events for adults in the garden, including activities organized by the Just Good Friends Club.
